i want to save money so i can get myself a scion tc :)?

i have like 12,000 i get a 1,000 each month but i want to know how much should i save and how much should i spend
like my spend my spending amount per month and how much should i save per month, anyone?.

Create a monthly budget. Write down all the money you earn or bring home in a month and call that Income. Write down all your monthly bills, financial obligations and expenses in another column and call that one Expenses. In order to survive your income must exceed your expenses.

The difference is the amount of money you should be putting into savings. If you want to save more aggresively then you need to cut out some of the expenses or increase your income.

i know i bought my car used at 13988. i took out a 5 year loan and my monthly payments are 309. so if your looking at a used car it mmay be around that price but if its a new car it is going to be higher.
