When I bought my Scion, my keys came with a 3/4 digit code. The salesman told me to never lose this number, as I'd need it if I ever lost my keys.
I know with Scions you have to have the car on the lot to get a key remade, but is this true if you still have that code? Does the code bypass any of this mess? Or is it just for the remote control part?
