check engine light for scion xa?

My check engine light turned on last night. My car isn't handling any differently, there are no odd noises being made... I'm concerned because I haven't even owned the car a year. I just recently had an oil change, and I'm not due for another one until next month...
What could it be? I'm really worried!

Take your vehicle to a local AutoZone or other parts store. They will check the code for free and tell you what you likely have to repair. I have a Scan Gauge fuel economy computer that also reads codes, but haven't needed it on the Xa yet.
