can a Lotus Elise Engine fit inside Scion XA's engine compartment?

ok considering that they are small cars but can you fit the lotus elise's engine inside a scion xa's engine compartment by making some trimming inside the xa's compartment?
i know both engines are toyota just wondering if it will fit
