My parents just bought me a car (I'm 16) and I wasn't with them when they made the decision and the dealer is bringing it by tomorrow. All I know is that it is a blue used-with warranty 2004 Scion Xa and that it's a small car. My friend has a 2006 Scion XB and I like hers-it's pretty nice! (Minus the extreme boxiness.) And I went online and saw some videos and looked up some stuff but I'd like personal experiences. So onto the questions:

1) Would you say that it is a good first car? I'd only be going to school, church, library, getting groceries, friends' houses, etc so I'm hoping it's not too bad.

2) Did you think it was attractive at first? I think it looks kinda weird and I'm still not used to my friend's xB, but hopefully I'll get used to the xA.

3) I'm not paying for gas until I get a part-time job because it's so flipping hard to get hired around here so how's the mileage? I heard that what the EPA says about the mileage isn't true.

Thanks so much! I'd appreciate it if you could answer these. It would help me out :)
Sorry, I mean the car is 2005.
Thanks eagle :)

1) Perfect first car. Very reliable and easy to drive. Not too much power, helps keep younger drivers out of trouble
2) I think mine looks great! Check out the pictures I uploaded. But it does have quite a few mods that make it more attractive. Suspension, wheels, tint, vented hood, and rally stripes on hood. It is amazing how much better it looks than stock!
3) Fuel economy is very impressive. I'm getting between 35 and 43MPG in mixed driving.
