I was looking to get a new exhaust for my 2008 scion tc to get it a little louder so i could actually hear it while im driving.

i was wondering if anyone knew how this cat-back exhaust system was:

if you'd be able to tell me the good and the bad of it that'd be great.

or if you know where i could get a nice hks exhaust (rear section) for a decent price that'd be even better

THANKS!

catbacks do nothing except make noise we do not need.

i don't really understand what you mean good and bad. its an exhaust system, and it will help increase hp and whp. it's pretty easy to install, and it's a direct bolt on. i personally don't like the sound because it sounds a bit ricey to me, but thats just my own personal opinion.

hks doesn't have a catback for the tc, but they do have an axleback available. for some reason, the price for the hks exhausts keeps on increasing. last year it was a couple hundred cheaper. check out the link i sent you, it has a pretty big comprehensive list of what online stores sell tc parts.
