View Full Version : Lowering a 2009 Scion xB?
I just got a new xB and am looking to get the lowering springs. I have never been in to car customization so I don't know a thing about it. I want to use the ones that scion offers on their site... but once buying the kit do I get the service done at a Scion dealer? If not what is the best way to go about this? Thanks!

Just go to Toyota tell what you want and they will order and install

Keep in mind that lowering puts stress on the other components. Installing lowering springs is easy, but if you go too low, you might want to get a camber kit. Also look into replacing the oem shocks if you do lower it more than one inch. I'd suggest letting them install the camber kit.

Your safest bet is to get it installed at the dealer. That way IF something were to happen during/after the install you still maybe covered under warranty. You will pay more for this option, but you get coverage also.
The cheaper way to go is to get it installed nearly at any custom/auto repair shop. A better shop would be one that specializes in Toyota/Scion.
