Is a Scion xD Hatchback a good vehicle?

I'm looking to buy a new car and wasn't really considering an SUV, but this particular one looks nice and seems to be pretty affordable. I don't know anyone who owns a Scion xD Hatchback personally, so I would like opinions from Scion owners. What are the pro's and con's of this vehicle? Does it get good gas mileage? Any info will be helpful and appreciated. Thanks!! :)
