Scion xD girly? What do you think?

I am looking for an affordable car which gets pretty good gas mileage and is not a sedan. I had a sedan but when I went on a trip with my family, it didn't have enough space to hold everything we needed for the trip. And I found scion xD which is a small van so it'll hold things that we need. (we don't have that much stuff, so we don't need a SUV.) Also I wanted to have a navigation system installed in the car (not like like a TomTom which you put in afterwards. I want it installed in the car.) But the other day, one of my friends told me that xD is girly. And since then, this keeps me from buying xD.....I mean I could go for Jeep Patriot too which is a little more expensive and gets a worse gas mileage but pretty manly. What should I do?

i dont think it is girly, navi would be nice in it, it looks good esp the front, go for it

The xD is whatever you make of it. what your friend thinks is irrelevant. My Dad owns an xD, and he uses it as his to work and to the airport car (I don't think his nearly year old BMW has 5K on it yet. It's a good compact car, I'll grant you it looks a bit odd, but I think that it could be masculine or feminine, depending on the driver.
