I am a 25 year old female going to buy my first car on my own. The 2 cars I've listed are it, so please do not suggest other cars. I would appreciate not having any snotty comments about my 2 choices. I'm just having a hard time deciding what I want and want to find out some more opinions.
Scion Pros: Good gas mileage, has a color I like, sits higher off the ground, better price
Scion Cons: Trunk space is very small even though seats fold down
Hyundai Pros: More trunk space, better warranty
Hyundai Cons: Not as great gas mileage, doesn't have a color I prefer, cost a little more
I'm torn between getting a car I want now and getting a car that will fit me later down the road. I don't believe the Scion would necessarily fit my lifestyle if I got married and had children. Not that I see that happening anytime soon, but who knows what can happen. I have come from a family that keeps their cars for a long time, so I really don't want to go the route of just trading one in when it doesn't work for me anymore.
If I get the Scion, I am worried that I will regret getting it later down the road, more than if I went with the Hyundai. Once again, please no snotty comments/answers on this question.
