should i get a scion tc or a Mitsubishi Lancer?

i found a 07 tc for 8,000 but i like the new lancer it will be more to insure and cost more which car should i get

give other suggestions of good cars if you have any

i dont like any of them. but id go with the lancer. im an all american car buyer.
