How do you PROPERLY bleed the brakes on a Scion 06 tC?

While replacing the brake fluid I managed to get air into my brake lines. I have a power bleeder, but it doesn't work with the tC brake fluid cap.

How did you get air in the system, just by putting brake fluid in?
If you have to ask follow these detailed instructions:

1. Take car to dealer ship
2. Give keys to service advisor
3. Walk away
4. Go pay
5. Never touch brake fluid again

This is the PROPER way to bleed your brakes.
