Toyota sells a 16 alloy rim to replace the stock steel rims with plastic covers. The literature says that the 16 alloys can be used with the factory tires. OK. Now, they also sell 18 rims (much more $). If I got the 18 rims, must I get different tires than the ones that come with the car? (I don't want to do this.) If I went elsewhere and got nicer 16 wheels, how do I find out the complete size of the wheels that I need (how do I know they'll fit the Scion xD?) Thank you!
Also, can anyone recommend a good place online to buy wheels? TireRack doesn't show the 2008 Scion in their search, so it's tough to know what will fit. Thanks!
